Educators who teach within the Times Herald circulation area (Cattaraugus and Allegany counties in New York and McKean, Potter and Cameron counties in Pennsylvania) can schedule deliveries of newspapers for classroom use by calling NIE manager Cora Niver at (716) 372-3121, extension 213.
Please be ready to give the following information:
your first and last name, official school name, and daytime phone number
the number of newspapers you will need (add the number of students plus educator for each class or group). You may order a minimum of six copies per delivery.
the grade levels and subjects you teach (so we can gear activity handouts and teaching guides to your needs)
the day(s) of the week (Monday through Friday) that you want to receive the newspapers.
Please remember that the Times Herald is an afternoon paper, giving you the chance to preview it before you plan to use it with your students. By previewing, there are no "surprises" and you can select stories, photos, ads, advise columns, editorials, and much more that you can incorporate into your lessons!
Your newspapers will be delivered to your school office or other prearranged site by a Times Herald driver.
