It was a cold Sunnydale night and Faith was on patroll. All of a Sudden 10 vampires came out of nowhere. "Good i get to play" Faith shouted as she quickly dusted 4 of them. She did a back flip knocked one over and staked it. Buffy dusted one of them and said, "You know Faith ever since you turned good again, youre slaying has been radicaly awesome", Faith smiled and said "Thanks B". Faith turned around to find not one of the 2 vamps left, but her new boyfriend Matt. She screamed "Matt get away from here these 2 vamps are really dangourus!" but before he could say anything one of the Vamps grabbed him. She tried to free him but then looked and found the other Vamp holding Buffy hostage. Faith was left with an important desision....Who To Save?.....

Faith was torn between the two people who she cared most about. Rage over the vampires grew in her. Her eyes were streaked with bright silver. She stood calmly, arms at her side, and her gaze focused forward. The two different vamps stared curiously at her. She dropped her stake, and the vamps grinned with their sharp white teeth glimmering brightly. Both vamps tilted their head towards their victims neck. Buffy and Matt were paralyzed, and staring at Faith with a mixed look of horror and hope. Faith rose her hands slowly, palm out, towards the vamp, and victim at either side of her. "Light." Was all that Faith said. White beams shot out of her palms, passed through Buffy and Matt, and hit the vamps. "Wha?" One vamp said. "This reeks." The other vamp said. Ashes hit the ground, Faith kept her gaze still, and the other slayer, along with the boyfriend stood, dumbfounded. Faith blinked then fainted.

Buffy and matt raced over to Faith who was lying in a heap on the
ground. "Faith? Faith Can you hear me?" Buffy asked. Faith opened her
eyes. "I want to go home." she managed to get that out before once again
going limp. Matt picked her up and carried her to their apartment. Buffy
looked at him, her face full of concern. "shouldn't we take her to the
hospital?"
"And say what? 'My girlfriend shot light out her hands then collapsed?'"
"Good point." Buffy and Matt sat by Faith's bed the rest of the night.
Faith awoke early that morning. Buffy was asleep in a chair and matt was
in the kitchen getting some water. Faith felt a new power surge through
her. "What a rush" she said aloud.
Matt came out just then. "what are you doing out of bed?" He asked. Faith
looked at him and smiled. "I feel great I think I oughta tell Giles about
this." Faith was as excited about her new found power as a kid in a candy
store. As soon as buffy awoke the three of them headed to Giles'
apartment.
