Ok let's speak about Lucifera herself. Do you consider yourself a daughter of the night or what? Questions by Daemonium of Dansa Macabra Zine. Lucifera-I am a demoness lost in the mortal world! I enjoy darkness and the wisdom it holds. My birth name (Elena) signifies light, and I like Lucifer, decided to use my own brains and the blind herd has found me to be a threat to their beliefs. What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of being a female zine editor? By editor Rommulos of A.B./ Moon Madness Zine My fiend there are only advantages! Well, maybe in some instances people will test you by asking you to prove yourself. I don't need to prove myself to anyone. Either you like me or you don't, I don't give a fuck! What females involved in Black and Death music do you respect and most admire? By editor Jerry Blaze of Blitzkrieg 666 zine. Lucifera-I respect all of those females who even pick up an instrument or start singing in a black or death metal band and work their way through. You should raise you beer to these women and cheer them on. I'm not saying their all good but anyone, man or woman, who takes on the task of starting a band deserve respect because at least they gave their effort. But if you want names I would say Doro of Warlock, Alicia of 13, Karyn of Crisis, Rebecca of Unburied, Victoria of Damad, Anneke of The Gathering, ASTARTE, Ebonsight, Liv of Theater of Tragedy, Lori Bravo of Nuclear Death, Wendy O Williams, Lita Ford, Joan Jett, April of Butchery, Robin Mazen, Dana Duffy, Hollie, etc…. Would you support the "militant" female satanist?-By editor Jerry Blaze of Blietzkrieg 666 zine. Lucifera-Yes, I would. But I would also support the sensual female satanist, the quiet female satanist. You know, I've said this a thousand times all satanists are not alike, nor do I expect them to be. If she is militant so be it. I just think a satanik woman need not restrict herself to being "militant". Considering most fanzines never make it past their 3rd or 4th issue. Do you think it's been harder for End. Zine to gain respect in the underground simply because it's done by a group of females? Question by editor Larry Neuman of Rapid Pulse zine Lucifera-Endemoniada Fanzine has always been fun to do and it brought Xastur, Vulgardemon, Satana, Blacky, Jeda and Bones and myself closer together and keeps us close. Whether or not we are respected matters little to us. No, we are not all females, Vulgardemon and Bones and a lot of our contributors are men and this helps balance our zine. We are doing Endemoniada because we want to do it, and enjoy it. If people respect us for what we do we enjoy it even more! There are many zines which are done by one or more females for that matter and I'm sure it doesn't make a difference to them either. I know you are writing poems. Where do you find the inspiration and what do your lyrics deal with? Question by Daemonium of Dansa Macabra zine. Lucifera-My inspiration comes either after midnight hours, or when it rains heavily and I watch the feeble minded run for cover. It also comes from many sufferings moments, dreams, anger, rituals, etc.. My lyrics deal with me and what's around me. I also write stories once in a while when I become possessed with a nagging idea. What are your goals for your fanzine? Question by Dave Wolff of A.E.A zine. Lucifera-Our goals are to reach more fiendz, we enjoy making the zine look better. As long as we enjoy what we are doing we are satisfied! We enjoy covering a variety of band and we have no limits, so we are going forward with Endemoniada full force! |
