A HUMOUROUS LOOK AT LAMPSIS

For anyone who doesn't know, Lampsis is a Greek soap opera that has been around for the past 9 years. You can catch it via ANT1 or via satellite. If you live in Canada you can see it every Sunday at 11 am on CMFT.

Lampsis takes place in Athens, Greece. It revolves around one family named Drakos. Yanko Drakos who is a rich shipping owner and the patriach of the family. Yanko's wife Virna is a savvy district attorney. Yanko's grown up children: Alexi, Titiana and Timos are living at home (still!) and have their own problems and tribulations.

WHO ARE WE??? Since you asked.......
We are a bunch of girls who use to watch Lampsis in Greece. Then we started watching it (when it became available) in Canada. Some wild girls in the GTA who howl with laughter at this insane world that the characters live in Lampsis. Sitting at a cafe on the Danforth, we decided to come up with this page cause we have to admit that even though Lampsis is far-fetched, it does rival American soap operas. Second, anyone who can blindfully swallow what these characters are doing/saying is taking t.v. too seriously!
