The background of the estate is shrouded in Mystery, going back as far as anyone can remember. It has been around far longer than Castle Rock and Logans Run. The first occupants of the place built the place from the ground up and called it Grape Arbor Estate they were grape growers and had their own winery. For many years they had a successful business and a good life until one night when that all changed by the disappearance of the whole family and all living beings on the grounds. That was in the year 1002 AD. No one went near the place until 1010 AD when two children stumbled into their home mumbling something about seeing ghosts on the old estate and hearing screams coming from the grounds. When the elders went to investigate they found the remains of the family and many animals in the basement, along with those remains they found many new ones as well. The killing and disappearances ended shortly after that and no one was any closer to finding out the reason for them. Many people searched and searched for the reason for the deaths and finally assumed that it was some murderer who had escaped from a nearby prison.
The place remained empty for many years after that until a young farmer and his new wife and infant daughter moved into the manor in 1095 AD, the old stories forgotten. They fixed up the place and reopened the winery, determined to make the best in their new home. What they did not know was that the creature behind the murders was still there and once again hungry for human flesh. One night when the child was about 10, the creature struck and killed her parents, but taking her with him and raising her to serve him.
This child was Aimee Chalmers. She eventually forgot the horror of losing her parents to her 'master', and grew to love him very much. Although he did not return her affections and she eventually grew cold and distant to even him. On her 25th birthday he took her to bed against her will and embraced her into the world of darkness, and death.
Her master was a 6th generation Lasombra vampire and very old and powerful ....not long after her embrace, she turned on him and killed him diablyzing him, as repayment for killing her family and for what 
he did to her. She moved from the estate shortly after, running from what she had become and what her future held for her.
That was in the year 1145. The servants kept the manor open and once again death struck in 1150 when they were found dead and the place once
again under new ownership of one Isis Marie LeBaine, a 6th generation Ventrue. She took over ownership and hid out there many years, until in 1585 she once again was on the run from those who hunted her.
The manor was unoccupied until Jan 2000, when she found herself the Prince of the city. The manor seemed to be the best place to pull all the kindred in the city together so that is where the local meeting hall was placed. Over the first month it became apparent that just being there was too much on her and a new Prince was chosen. The new Prince was also a old friend to the manor, her name now Aimee Jolan .
