to the Accounting Society The Accounting Society shares information with students who are interested in learning about what the accounting profession entails. It also serves as an intermediary between accounting firms and students for full-time and part-time hiring. The Accounting Society hosts speakers from the Big Four accounting firms as well as mid-sized firms; organizes informative lectures given by professors; coordinates CPA review courses; co-sponsors events with the Office of Career Services; and sponsors social events. At these events, students gain insight into accounting opportunities as well as examine current issues facing the accounting profession today. Our mission is to create awareness of the scope of accounting studies by: • Inviting
corporate speakers and professors to inform students of accounting
