The Riddler

In Batman Forever, Jim Carrey played a very hyper Riddler, who wanted to destroy both Bruce Wayne and Batman. He also stole information from people's brains through a device called "The Box." Ooookay, moving right along...

The animated Riddler is one of the coolest versions of the character. Computer genius Eddie Nygma became the Riddler to get revenge on his former employer, but when he was stopped by Batman he became obsessed with trying to outsmart the caped crusader. He is voiced by John Glover, who also appeared in "Batman and Robin" as Dr. Woodrue. But don't hold that against him.

Who can forget the evil cackle of Frank Gorshin's Riddler? When the series premiered, The Riddler hadn't been used in the comics in years, and even then had only appeared once or twice. He appeared in the very first episode of TV show, and ever since then The Riddler has been one of Batman's main villains. John Astin also played The Riddler in the series, briefly, but Gorshin is the one everyone remembers.
