Basic Bathing

Our basic bath will include a thorough shampoo, towel drying and a quick brushing. The bath includes a pedicure and ear cleaning if needed. You may also choose any type of shampoo that we carry for your pets bath. If your pet has small mats that need removing, we will be happy to remove these at no additional cost. However large amounts of matted hair removal will require an extra charge. Bathing prices will be based on the weight of your pet. We will have three separate charges for our bathing: 1. a routine bath is one where your pet comes in just for a bath and does not require any boarding 2. a discounted price will be given for the bath while your pet is boarding *** 3. if your pet receives one of our packages while boarding, we will take an additional 10% of our "bathing with boarding" price ***Baths while boarding are given the night prior to the scheduled pick up date and pets are towel dried.  If you would like your pet to have a bath the morning of pick up, this can be arranged, however the groomer on staff with need to give the bath and blow dry and thus the charge will be that of a routine bath. MOST PETS WILL OBTAIN A "KENNEL SMELL" WHILE BOARDING, THUS IF YOU REQUEST THAT YOUR PET NOT RECEIVE A BATH BEFORE GOING HOME, YOU ARE ACKNOWLEDGING THAT YOUR PET MAY NOT BE CLEAN UPON PICK UP. Every pet is examined for fleas upon arrival at the Manor. If fleas are found, a flea bath will be given at the owner's expense for an additional $10 above the bathing while boarding price. This is to keep our facility free of fleas and also to protect all of the animals staying with us. Oxy-Med -- Oxy-Med® Shampoo is a soothing coconut based shampoo formulated with micronized Oatmeal and Vitamin E for a daily soothing bath. Alpha Hydroxys penetrate the lowermost levels of the skin (stratum corneum) “cleaning out” the skins pores and "lifting" the dirt away. Wheat Protein and Vitamin B5 supply nourishment for a healthy skin and coat. Routine bathing leaves the skin and coat soft, shiny, and looking great. Malasab -- Malaseb Shampoo combines a unique formulation of antibacterial and antifungal agents with coat conditioners for optimal therapeutic effectiveness. Malaseb Shampoo is a fragrance- and dye-free shampoo that cleans and degreases the coat. Malaseb Shampoo treats dandruff and flaky skin, ringworms, itchy, crusty, and smelly yeast infections and other bacterial infections. Oxydex---Oxydex is a potent, antimicrobial, cleansing, moisturizing and degreasing formulation in an elegant, fragranced, soap-free, lathering shampoo base.
