Now, you must be wondering what I mean by my making mistakes.  The truth of the matter is, like many others, there are times in which we all slack off.  As for me, I was able to learn from that mistake by working hard and continuing to strive for a better grade.  I kept trying to make myself believe that I wasn't capable of doing better.  However, it wasn't until a few weeks ago where reality finally hit me.  I realized that I wasn't going to be able to graduate on time if I didn't pick up my act.  Now, I am doing much better in class than ever before.

    To be honest with you, I really didn't want to give this program a second thought.  I was so sure that it was going to be a waste of my time, but it sure proved me wrong.  Now, don't get me wrong when I say that it isn't easy.  But, what class is?  I guess you can say that this was a perfect example of giving things a chance.  It was a way of showing me that life has alot of opportunities, and you just have to take advantage of it.  I guess what I'm really trying to say is that Tech-Prep is a great experience which shows you exactly what to expect of the real world!  Not only do you meet different people, but, you also have to work with them as a team in all your endeavors.

    As a result, I believe that the Tech-Prep program is a good way of  preparing you for the future.  Even if you feel that fashion is not what you want to major in, it still is a wonderful program because your education goes way beyond the fashion industry.  It may be difficult at times, but as I said before, so is the real world!  The only way to be successful in life is to challenge those obstacles, and this is the perfect experience to help you achieve that!
