BABY BOOMER BLUES

I've got age spots on the back of my hands;
My face is wrinkling too;
Instead of aging gracefully,
I've got baby boomer blues.

I'd like to find the fountain of youth;
I wonder if it really exists;
It seems like only yesterday,
That I looked something like this:

OK I might be stretching it,
But only just a little;
I was a "looker" back in "those days"
Now I wipe away spittle!

Oh Lord, my body's achin'
Everything's fallin' apart;
My bones are getting weaker;
My hair has a strange new part.

I'd love to do the Watusi,
Or maybe the Pony or Twist;
But I'm lucky just to be able
To sit here and type like this.

I guess I should accept it;
And stop my whining too.
But I can't seem to help it;
I've got baby boomer blues.
