Sallie's Time

This is where you will find out about me, SallieMarie. First of all, I am a homemaker: a wife, a mother, a teacher, a caregiver, a housekeeper, a cook, a seamstress,a referee. I'm sure that on any given day I could add more to that definition of homemaker.

I love my job. True it doesn't pay well, not as far as money anyway. My pay will come to me later, when my children have grown up and I see if I did my job well. If my children are a good addition to society and help spread the Word of God, then I will consider my job well done. My pay will be far greater than any gold on earth. I will have the peace of heart and mind to know that my children are happy Christians. I enjoy homeschooling my daughters. My first and most important goal is to raise my children to be Christians who love the Lord and keep His commandments. My next goal is to teach them to love learning and how to teach themselves. I believe if they can do that, there is nothing too great for them to accomplish. In my free time, not that there is much of it, I like to do a lot of things. Some of the things I enjoy doing are reading, gardening, crochet, cross-stitch, and other crafts. I also like to work with the computer. I taught myself HTML and love creating web pages. My husband works the swing shift so I sometimes have the hours from 5 am to 7 am all to myself to be online creating pages. On night shift, I have been known to be up most of the night on the computer or crocheting.
