Ralph L. Scearcy, WB0IKH

Ralph Leroy Scearcy, 67, of Fayetteville, NC died May 5th, 2000, succumbing to cancer.

Ralph was a retired U. S. Army Master Sgt and enjoyed his post military career with ham radio. He routinely joined the Swan radio nets with his Swan 500CX transceiver.

We were advised by his son Jerome (KF4EDH) that Ralph had battled with cancer for the past few years beating it twice before; then, only to be overcome a third time which moved very swiftly. He did not suffer in his final days and was surrounded by loved ones at the end.
