W. Robert Dabb - K2QAU

OSHA Investigator and WWII Veteran

W. Robert Dabb, K2QAU, of Scotch Plains, NJ died June 15th, 2001 at the Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center.

Mr Dabb was an investigator and inspector for OSHA in Dover before retiring in 1981. Earlier, he was a personnel manager and security officer with RCA for 27 years.

He attended Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA and United Radio and Television School, Newark. He served in the U. S. Army during World WarII.

Mr. Dabb was a member of the Amateur Radio Relay League, the New Jersey State Police emergency management auxiliary, and the Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services of Union County.

Born in Brooklyn on May 24th, 1920, he moved to Scotch Plains in 1954.

Surviving are his wife, Paulette; sons, Thomas, Robert and Richard; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
