Princess was 3 1/2 years old, female,
and grey in color. When the sun hit her
fur just right, her fur looked silver.
She had an accident when she was about a
month and a half old.
My husband was walking out the front
door and she crawled under-foot. He
ended up stepping right on her head and
chest area. Thank God we have a small
ledge under the door. She had a huge
amount of head and chest trauma.
We rushed her to the vet and he had
to release some pressure on her brain.
We weren't sure she was going to make
it!! I was deeply upset, holding her the
whole time.
Yesterday, September 17, 1999, we had
to have her put to sleep. :-( It was a
hard decision to make, but I pray it was
the right one. She couldn't control her
bladder anymore. We miss you, Princess,
and we'll always remember and love you.
(((((Princess)))))
Gizmo on the other hand, is the
trouble maker. She just turned 1 year in
March and she tries to take over the
house. Gizzy, which is what I call her
mostly, is long-haired and
brownish/black in color. She looks kind
of like a Maine Coon and a bobcat all in
one.
She's also got her little quirks. If
you're sitting down, and I mean
anywhere, on the couch, at the table,
even on the toilet, and your hand is
hanging over she'll walk up to it and
want you to pet her. If you don't,
watch out! She'll bite you're finger
just enough to get your attention. It
doesn't hurt but if you're not expecting
it, it would give you a start.
There will be pictures of cats all
over this site. Here and there, I'll put
other images, such as mystical,
animated, cartoons or nature scenes.
Let me tell you about some of the
other felines that have owned
me. Four of them are named Minoo so
I've added 1,2,3 and 4 to them.
I don't really remember Minoo1 very
well. I was very young when her and I
were together. I lived on a farm at the
time. We grew vegetables and I used to
sell them along side the road next to
the farm.
I remember one day I took Minoo1 to
the vegetable stand with me. She had a
pink ribbon around her neck and tied in
a bow. We spent the whole day together.
The next day I looked for her but she
was gone. To this day, I have no idea
what happened to her.
Minoo2 was an orange tabby cat I used
to have. I'm pretty sure she's in kitty
heaven. I'd been hanging laundry on the
line and she scurried out the door while
I was carrying a load of clothes
outside. I couldn't catch her and she
ran off.
I kept looking for her for days. At
the time, I worked at a grocery store as
a cashier. I was telling one of my
regular customers about Minoo2 and she
had bad news for me.
Apparently, she saw a car hit a cat
and they didn't stop so she did. It must
have been Minoo2, I had described her to
the woman and I have no doubt it was
her.
Minoo3 was a beautiful
Chocolate-Point Siamese. I was told that
minoo meant cat in French but I'm not
sure of that anymore.
Minoo3 was very protective of me.
It's kind of funny now, but at the time
it wasn't. My ex-boyfriend and I were
wrestling and he didn't have a shirt on.
Well, I guess I yelled too loud and
here she came. Minoo3 was SuperKitty!!
She jumped on his back and dug all her
claws in. Of course, I protected my
beloved cat, though. lol
Minoo4 is Princess's mother. She's
black and white and has big, beautiful
eyes. I have a picture of her that I'm
hoping to put on here very soon.
Minoo4 used to do a strange, but cute
thing. We would crinkle up a cigarette
pack and she'd come running. It had to
be something that sounded like a
cigarette pack, though, I don't know
why.
Her big eyes would stare at you until you threw the crumpled up pack, then Minoo4 would take off after it and bring it back for you to throw again. Talk about entertainment! lol
