I rarely catch transmissions from the ghost planet anymore, but who couldn't love such madcap antics? Come on, take a chill pill, pull the stick that's proping you up out of your butt, and think about times where life was fun and easy. If you can't laugh at this show, I feel sorry for you.

Daria

Those of us trained in the ancient art of sarcasm recognize Daria as a master. If there's one show that reminds me most of my highschool experience, it's this one. Because of my voice and demenor people took to calling me Daria my freshman year here at college. Thankfully I don't segregate myself from people that much, or take life in such a moody fashion.

Mystery Science Theater

If B movies strike you as watchable if only for the sheer stupidity and capacity to make fun of certain aspects, curl up on the couch with Joel and his robot friends. Warning: those who don't read or aren't familiar with history, literature or classic film won't get this show.

Batman and Superman

The dark knight, a hero born of vengance and intelligence alone. The more morbid shadowy predicessor to Batman and Robin holds much more artistry and thrill, but unfortunately they canceled it to put the more easily digestable "happier" bright (blech!) version on television. Out of nostalgia I still tune in... and occasionally watch Superman even though Superman is hardly as complex and interesting a character as Batman.

The Sabres occupy that special place in my heart for one unchangable reason. When they play they look like a band of street players, no one player is leagues more talented than any of his fellow players, they work as a real team. It that way, I consider them the best scrappy team in the whole league. They're guys you want to see win.
