"Now as far as this is concerned, given the real history of the United States, Columbus didn't discover America, and was very instrumental in enslaving Native Americans to search for gold. The fact that he was a good sailor and came here doesn't impress me because there were Native Americans here long before who had, according to history, migrated here from the Alaskan Strait. So why do we celebrate this day still, knowing all this? Ask your people in Congress. You don't have to be a Native American to find this holiday offensive."
