History: Patrick was born into a family of mid-level businesspeople. He used to dream that he would live a prosperous life in New York City, but he later decided his calling was the stars, and he joined Earthforce. He saw some serious action in the Earth-Minbari War, but when it came down to the final defense of Earth, the Hera became stranded at Orion VII from an earlier battle. Nonetheless, Patrick was promoted for his bravery in several battles. He was later assigned to Io where he helped repair damaged vessels. President Peter Ashton personally handpicked Patrick to serve in a liaison force to the Drazi Freehold. There he made friends with several influential Drazi before being recalled to active vessel duty. He made many friends on the Lantree, but then disaster struck. Lt. Richard Quincy was found brutally murdered during a shore leave and Patrick was accused. He denied the murder completely and the case was dismissed, since there was no evidence. However, he was alienated from the rest of the crew and shortly thereafter requested a reassignment. He was moved to the Pershing Drydock Facility oversaw the final stages of construction of the Hypocrites before being assigned as XO of that vessel.

Earthforce Record:

2241 - Joins Earthforce, receiving training in command and diplomacy

2245 - As an ensign, assigned to the E.A.S. Hera.

2247 - Promoted to junior lieutenant.

2249 - Assigned to the transfer point at Io

2251 - Recalled to Earth and made a full lieutenant. Reassigned to a cultural exchange program with the Drazi Freehold.

2254 - After four years of service in Drazi space, reassigned to duty aboard a starship by receiving the position of chief operations officer of the E.A.S. Lantree.

2257 - Involved in a rescue operation for a crashed Minbari ship.

2259 - Wrongfully accused of the death of fellow crewmember Lt. Richard Quincy, a case which was dismissed for lack of evidence. Several crewmates still felt some anger towards Patrick.

2260 - Promoted to lieutenant commander and assigned as XO of the Pershing Drydock Facility at Tau Ceti.

2263 - Oversees final stages of construction of the E.A.S. Hypocrites. Subsequently assigned as the ship's XO.

Personality: A bit stern while on duty (and sometimes displaying a fine dry wit), Patrick often loosens up off-duty and displays a good sense of humor as well as a love for music and vids.
