History of the Roosevelt-Class Vessel:

Shortly after the Earth-Minbari war, when the Babylon Project was in full swing, a select group of Generals, Admirals and Scientists discussed other plans to secure Earth Alliance space from threats that are just as powerful, or perhaps even more powerful than the Minbari. In 2262, official plans were made to create a newer version of the Roosevelt Class Vessel, with several new weapons, and more room for fighters. Unfortunately, the funds to create the extended space were canceled, and only the weapons grid and gravity generators were the major changes involved. Now, the Hyperion Class Vessel Hypocrites is one of the first Hyperion Vessels with Gravity Generators built in, instead of using a zero gravity well. This modified Hyperion and Roosevelt class vessel line is to remain in construction for the next few years.
