A

  • Aerosmith
Done With Mirrors- the bands first de-tox album- overlooked gem!
Greatest Hits- the title says it all!

  • Alice In Chains
Jar Of Flies- a solid album from those seminal Seattle junkies.

    -

    B

  • Bauhaus
1979-1983 Vol. 1--dark, surreal imagery, gothic. See Joy Division.

  • Beastie Boys
Liscence To Ill-leave it to a few white boys to put rap on the map!
Paul's Boutique-a swirling sample-fest leaving no genre untouched. Brilliant!
Check Your Head- the boys can play instruments too!
Ill Communication- a little of this, a little of that. All good!
Some Old Bullshit-the early madness. For the completist.
    Hello Nasty- Pauls Boutique revisited.

    -

  • Belly
Star-ex Muse Tanya Donnelly- they rocked hard live.

  • Blur
Modern Life Is Rubbish -brit popsters quirky effort. Contains 2 killer hidden tracks.
Parklife - a tighter album than Modern Life. These guys have studio talent!
13-the boys' 1999 relaease turns up the guitars a notch.

    -

  • Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath- sounds dated to me, but the title track is as haunting as ever.
    Master Of Reality-sweet leaf!
Sabotage- overlooked, but not by me! A thunderous album! Ozzy in his prime.
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath- stoned out grinder. Great lyrics.

  • David Bowie
Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars - can't mess with a classic.
David Live- solid 1974 live set from Philadelphia. 2 CD's
Outside- concept album with no concept. Brian Eno production makes it interesting.

  • Blues Traveler
Live From The Fall-jamheavy live set from 1996. Top flight. 2 Cd's

  • James Brown
Live At The Apollo,1962- most of us werent born when this groundbreaking live album was recorded. Get funky!

  • Lindsey Buckingham
Out of The Cradle-Fleetwood Mac guitarist solo effort. Too light weight for me, but has some great pop hooks.

  • Jeff Buckley
Grace-NY rocker shows great potential. Songs have depth and passion. Too bad he died.

  • Kate Bush
The Sensual World-David Gilmour plays guitar on 2 tracks.

  • Bernard Bultler
People Move On-former Suede guitarist/songwriter goes solo. Great potential. Keep an eye out.

  • Butthole Surfers
Pioughd- mind bending wackiness from Gibby Haynes and company.
Independent Worm Saloon- the first major labor release. produced by John Paul Jones. Not for the weak of heart.

Electric Larryland- even more accesible than Worm Saloon, but they refuse to sell out.

  • The Beavis and Butthead Experience--Various Artists such as Nirvana, Primus, Red Hot Chili Peppers. This CD definitely does not suck!
