Read Your Bible Through In A Year

God's Word endures forever. No matter what the circumstances are, you can put your trust in the eternal Word of God.

Through daily Bible reading you will be nourished in your spirit (Matthew 4:4), washed in your soul (Ephesians 5:26), and renewed in your mind (Romans 12:2).

God's Word will judge your thoughts and attitudes (Hebrews 4:12), and will guide you in decision making (Psalm 119:105).

Start anytime, and by following this reading plan, one year later you will have read the entire Bible In the chronological order in which events actually happened.

Set aside time each day to focus on God and His Word - the Bible. If you miss a day, rather than getting discouraged about trying to catch up, we suggest you skip ahead to today's reading. Be committed to today's priority of spending time with Jesus. God's word is living (Hebrews 4:12), so begin your reading with the simple prayer, "Lord, make me come alive to your Word."

As you absorb the "pure milk" of God's word (1 Peter 2:2), you are sure to grow. God assures us that His Word will not be without effect in our lives - it is guaranteed to accomplish God's purposes in us (Isaiah 55:11). Approach your Bible reading with determination, and then get ready to "taste and see that the Lord is good" (Psalm 38:8)!
