1982 Monte Carlo Specifications and Dimensions

These are the standard specs and dimensions for 1982 Monte Carlos. They are based on the 229 V6-equipped car, that model being standard and having sold the most units overall. The only marked difference between the 305 V8-equipped car and the 229 V6-equipped car is the curb weight -  add approximately 108 lbs to the standard curb weight if you have a 305-equipped (LG4) car, which would be 3317 lbs.

Engine production figures show clearly that the 229 was the most manufactured engine; 305 cars are a little more difficult to find. Strangely, the 267 V8 was more popular than the 305 in 1982.
