Finally, Capitol has realized the virtual gold mine that we all know Mrs. Miller is. Part of the Wild, Cool, & Swingin' series, Mrs. Miller has her very own compilation of her first three albums. Even though I tend to be partial to her original vinyl recordings, I found the sound quality to be top notch and recommend it for those of you looking for a sample. Even added benefits are a recipe for homemade apple pie in the liner notes AND a previously unreleased track "Queen of the House."
ULTRA LOUNGE: WILD COOL & SWINGIN' SERIES
Full title: Mrs. Miller Wild, Cool & Swingin': The Artist Collection, Vol 3.
I will be updating my site to include this album and liner notes, which should answer some of the questions we all have been pondering about Mrs. Miller's private life. I'll even throw in the recipe and would be interested in hearing from people who've tried it.
Even bigger news! I did some digging at my local library and found the infamous Miller trip to Vietnam as foretold in Life Magazine!!
Also, COOL AND STRANGE MUSIC magazine has done a wonderfully detailed article on Mrs. M that appears in Issue #14, "Searching for Mrs. Miller." It is even more complete than the Life magazine article.
