My Big Olds page got too large and took too long to load, so I created this page. On it you will find pictures of my friends rides, and links to other streetrod sites on the net. If you can't find the links your looking for here, go to Mike Siewarts Rod Links. If you can't find it there it does not exist! Also if you want to talk streetrods with some old pros, or would like to give advise to the newbies in streetrodding, check out the Rodders Round Table. I will update this page often, so please come back!

If you find any 1-800 billet cars on my site, it's because they are friends of mine. You can pick your nose or your friends nose, but you can't pick your friends ride! hehe

SCROLL ON DOWN FOR OPP! "other peoples pics!

OK, so it's not a streetrod, it's still neat! Longtime friend Buddy Hinman found this Hillegas sprinter, which someone had started building in 57 and never finished. Buddy finished it and now has a brand new 57 Hillegas sprinter! 283 with 3 two's. He runs it in antique races all over NY.

Walt Bird and family drive this beautiful 39 sedan everywere! The 48 is Walt's latest project. Wacked roof, slanted B pillers, Late Camaro drivetrain, it's gonna be neat!

The one that got the ball rolling again!

When I first saw Andy Byrne he was a 15 year old kid at Rhinebeck, and Doug Anderson was telling him how to build a decklid for his A coupe. A couple of years later it's on the road. I want to adopt this kid! See his tribute to the man who helped him build the car, Conrad Johnson, in the write of way section of the August street sene.

This is Doug Andersons sweet A coupe. Doug drove his homebuilt hotrod to Bonneville last summer from his home in the southern tier of NY. A real hotrodder for sure, and a very interesting guy to talk to! If you see Doug at an event don't be afraid to say hi! Talked to Doug at Rhinebeck. The pics at the salt flats with the moondiscs, blackwall tires and hood are fakes! They were created by carps of the Rodders Round Table with photoshop! They may be fakes but they sure look neat!

This is Bob Hales 40. Bob won the ladies choice award at York last year. Don't know if it was his car or his sexy body, but he won just the same!

Hezzy Armstrong built this beautiful little channeled A roadster with Olds power back in the 50's. Hezzy was a craftsman and a artist when it came to building cars. He sold it in the early 70's to a musem in Ohio. The musem owner passed away and left it to his daugter down south "Tennesee?" Hezzy also had passed away and his son Jeff saw his dads car, unchanged since he sold it, in the auto trader. He bought it and brought it home were it belongs. Now Jeff drives his dads old hot rod to cruise nights and shows, so we can all enjoy what a real craftsman could do. To look at this car, it's hard to belive it was built before mig welders and plazma cutters and all the other tools we all take for granted today!

Left to right. This 41 Olds 98 series 4 door was spotted at the Goodguys Nats in Columbus. Next is the Walsh's 41 66 series. Next is Paul Jacobs beautiful maroon club coupe. Next is were the stock parts from project big Olds went, Chris' 41 76 series. Next is Bob's beautiful streetrod. Bob put me on to a 41 Olds collector that had some parts I needed. Beautiful car great guy! I have no idea who belongs to the pro street coupe in the last pic. It was for sale at the NSRA nats in Syracuse in 95.

My buddy Bob just bought this sweet Vicky. Built 30 years ago, flatty powered and kewl! The last pic is his latest project. A 47 Chevy convert. Chopped with working power top, pie cut hood. It's gonna be sharp!

Our good friends John and Linda just bought this sharp 39 Dodge. Finally got john out of the stock Ramblers and into a streetrod! Plans over the winter call for getting it down outta the clouds with drop spindles and lowering blocks, A disc brake conversion and a bunch of little stuff.

This was central NY Goodguy Rep. and general pain in the a$$ Gary Rhodes, along with his 40 coupe. Gary moved at the end of August to sunny Fla. NY's gain is Fla. loss! Now Jupiter Joe is going to have to put up with him! hehe. Kidding Gary, were going to miss you!

Here is my buddy Ed Shultz old T-Bucket which he sold, and the 40 Ford sedan he bought at Rhinebeck to replace it. The 40 is a much better car for an old fart like Ed!

John Fergeson has owned this flatty powered Coupe since he was a young man. Now he's an old fart and he's still enjoying it!

The big guy in the backround of the first pic is Wayne Bearse, aka Wayne T. Bucket. His brother Rick also has a bucket, and his mom and dad have this beautiful little A coupe. Hope to have pics of Ricks bucket up soon!

PS. The girl with the pink T IS NOT his mom!

Ain't this Olds sinister looking?

I stole the above gif. and the pinup art from Dougs Hot Rod Hell page. Doug sez to email him if you want to use anything on his page. I did, and offered to trade links. I guess Doug thinks I'm a dork, as he didn't respond. So here they are Doug. I stole em and I don't need no stinking gun!

Also you'll find that the link to the Road Zombies site is gone. Looks like they think they're too cool to answer my emails also. They carry this punk attitude a little too far, who needs em?
