1999-00: Most expensive team in NHL with highest player budget and still left out of the play-offs.
Rangers played, once again, terrible season.
Brian´s season was mostly ruined by arm injury, wich kept him out from 32 games.
Leetch collected 26 points (7+19) in 50 games.
Even playing only 50 games, only defenseman in Rangers who got more points was Mathieu Shneider with 29 points. click here to see Brian´s 99-00 stats game by game.

Leetch will be 35 when this contract is over and after that he´s probably ready to retire and named to Hall Of Fame! Good luck again to Rangers and Leetch to new millenium season!
1997-98: Seson 97-98 was big dissapointment to Rangers and Leetch. Rangers spend lots of money to buy new players after season 96-97, they had biggest budget in NHL for season 97-98. Leetch worn the captain "C" first time full season, I don´t know did that effect his game performans, but many peopple think so...
