Suffolk County Long Island's 8th Annual Hobby Expo and Plastic Model Contest
Come grow with one of the biggest & best Plastic Modeling Contest and Show. Visit us at our
new and MUCH improved location at the HOLIDAY INN HOTEL, LAKE RONKONKOMA off Exit 57{SOUTH} From the Long Island
Expressway On VETERANS HIGHWAY. We out grew all our other locations. There is an Excellent Dining Room
at the hotel . Located within 2 miles of the Hotel are many other fine Resturants like Hooters, T.G.I.F.,
& many smaller eating spots. Also Located on Veterans Highway within 4 miles of the Hotel is HobbyLand Hobby Shop.
These are all with in 4 miles of the HOLIDAY INN at MacArthur AirPort in Lake Ronkonkoma.

original 5 are free so bring alot. (Example You bring 5 models and pay $10.00 to enter our
contest. If you bring 30 models for our contest it is still $10.00)

!!!!! CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS !!!!!
1) Models should be registered & entered in the contest by 12:30 P.M. and Must stay on Display until
after the Awards are Announced. All entried entered after 12:30 P.M. will be accepted it there is
space in that category.
2) We will do our best to fit your model into the appropriate category but if there is no category
that fits the model it will be placed in a Miscellaneous Category.
3) Categories listed above may be combined with another category or we may add new categories the
day of the contest depending on the amount of models entered in a particular category.
4) Judging will take place at Approximately 1:30 P.M. and the Decision of the Judges are Final.
5) Model Entry Forms Must Be Displayed With Each Model in the contest. Reference Material may
be Displayed with your model depending on space in the category by the model. ANY MODEL WITHOUT
AN ENTRY FORM WILL NOT BE JUDGED IN THE CONTEST. Entry Forms Must Be Placed on the Table With
The Persons Name Folded Back and Facing Downward.
We always try to be as fair as we can when Judging the contest. we try to have categories
for every model entered in our contest but sometimes that is not possible. If you have any
Suggestions or Category Ideas to make our show the The Hobby Expo of the year please leave me
