Slap Happy hails from the tiny surburban town of PEARL RIVER, NY. Mark, Kevin, Dan, and Brain are all seniors at Pearl River High School. While the future of the band is uncertain with college looming only a few months away, Slap Happy is still trying to finish out the year together by recording and playing shows as much as possible in the next few months. They enjoy playihg all types of music, everything from punk to ska to hardcore to slower grungy songs to...blues? Well, okay, no blues. "Or metal," says Kevin Farrelly, the band's strongest oppostion to any straying from the realm of skacore punk. Mark will play or sing anything, and often has disputes with band members on songs. Brian plays kazoo on only a few joke ska songs, and sings backup on a few punk songs. Dan will play (or attempt to play) anything and everything we make him play, because he is spineless and doesn't like taking a stance on anything.
