RootsWeb Button
RootsWeb is a major source of info for every family name and location. Search what others have posted and join a Mailing List to connect quickly with others.

The World Connect database is the same as Ancestry.com's Ancestry's World Tree with millions of names including the submitter and children/ancestors of that person. Definitely a first stop to see who has already posted your ancestors

The SSDI -Social Security Death Index - is a great resource for birth and death of those who died after 1950 and quite up to date. If you put the last name and state you'll get a list of all who died or received SS card from that state and may find some new names. Or list surname and years only so that different spellings of the first name will show up.

Welcome to the New England Roots Web Ring!
