My love for the game began at the age of five in the basement of my babysitter's house. I could hardly see over the table, but that didn't stop me from trying. I took a hiatus from the game during high school, and then renewed my interest in college. I played often in Kilgore Hall on the campus of Morehouse College. Occasionally, I could also be found in the student center at Georgia Tech.
Pool for me, is neither a sport nor a game. It can be a psychological battle of wills or it can be a friendly way to past the time. It can be the ultimate in relaxation therapy or the easiest way to separate oneself from a full head of hair. In fact, pool can be likened to Tao in this manner. To me, pool is an amusing metaphor for life.
