The band having its usual luck, is once again booked on a day scheduled for 'drenching thunderstorms.' After a good half hour of rain, the band emerged from uder our tarps to play our smokinest set ever! whoda thunk? It got stranger...
As soon as the band got good and warmed up, Christie whacks the back of his hand with a rock-hard drumstick and is seriously injured. Dr Chrispy believes it is broken. Without a single thought for his own safety, RAS CHRISPY carries the stricken drummer to the bar for an ice compress and seats himself at the drum kit!
Without missing a beat, the band carries on - thanks to our hero Ras Chrispy, now drumming. In this pic, J-Roy jams with Bodacious Outrageous, who is soon joined by Christie Defeo, playing KEYBOARDS with his one good hand! Check out the icepack on Christies hand. Amazing!

Seen here Warren, J-Roy, Bodacious Outrageous and Ras Chrispy, now officially the second-best drummer in the band. Christie soon made a full recovery and played a triumphant second set!
Now THIS COUPLE got it right!
