I am just like everyone else; I am unique.

Hello! I suppose you've stumbled here because you're kind of interested in what makes me tick. Okay, here goes.

My name is Emily Blosser. I am a music education major at the Crane School of Music, a part of SUNY Potsdam, in Potsdam, NY. I enjoy my life up here in the "Frozen North." I am also a French minor, which proves to be very fun.

I write poetry, both in French and English, and I am almost done with my third complete book of poetry. (This is, of course, unpublished.) Someday I would like to try my hand at publishing, but at the moment, I am content to share my writing with anyone who will read it and give it constructive criticism. I'm not looking for compliments, but if something's bad, I want to know how I can make it better. Because of this, some people might think that I don't know how to take criticism. It's not that. I just want to know how I can make myself better at something.

I don't remember ever composing music that wasn't required for a class, but I have enjoyed the process of all of my compositions. I enjoy arranging things that can be played/sung by my church's Folk Group, but I have only actually heard one of these arrangements. The rest are still in progress!

I'm a little bit of a smart-ass. This has gotten me into a little bit of trouble in the past, but I've been working on using it more for humor and less for offensive purposes.
