It has been one month since everything happened. Everything was going right for everyone until......

Dawson was sitting in movie class, listening to Mr. Gold talk about what old horror films have that new ones don't. His lecture was disturbed by a knock at his door.

"Come in!" Mr. Gold yelled from his spot, mad that his lecture was disturbed.

"Hi. I'm Ty Jones. I am a new student in your film class." He said as he slowly walked to Mr. Gold's desk.

"Hello. Will you please sit down next to Dawson in the back row?" He said pointing to Dawson. Ty walked back and set back to the set next to Dawson.

"Hey, Ty. I'm Dawson Leery." Dawson whispered when Ty sat down. "How are you liking the school?"

"Alright, I guess. I'm in the tenth grade. How about you?" He asked quietly not trying to interrupt the lesson again.

"Tenth. Hey, if you want, at lunch I could introduce you to a couple of my friends?" Dawson asked Ty.

"Yeah, that sounds good." Ty said as the two went back to listen to Mr.Gold.

"Whoa!! Who is that?" Joey asked as she sat next to Jen at lunch.

"I don't know. But I bet we will know in a second. Look who's he with." Jen said pointing to Dawson.

"Hey, Jen. Hey, Jo." He bent down and gave Joey a quick kiss. "Ty, I would like you to meet Jen Lindley and Joey Potter, my girlfriend. This is Ty Jones."

"Hi, ladies." Ty said sitting down. Joey and Jen were still gazing at him. He was Dawson height, with baby blue eyes and blond hair that was a little past his eyes. His hair was the same length all the way around. He wore a tight shirt that showed off his chest and a black leather jacket.

*Hey. I have a boyfriend. Snap out of it!!* The girls thoughtsimentaniously.

"Hey, Jen." Pacey walked up to the table and gave Jen a quick kiss. Then he noticed an extra person at the table. "Hello, I'm Pacey Witter." He said as he extended his hand at Ty.

"Hey, I'm Ty Jones." He took Pacey's hand.

"So, what grade are you in, Ty?" Joey asked.

"I'm in the tenth." He said.

"So, which one of my friends dragged you to meet us?" Pacey said smiling.

"It was Dawson. I met him in film class." Then the bell rung, interrupting the conversation. "Is it me or is lunch getting shorter everyday?" Jen asked. Everyone laughed. "Ty, what class do you have next?"

"Marine Biology with Dr. Rand." Ty replied looking at his schedule.

"You have the same class I do. I'll walk with you." Joey replied.

"Sure, let's get going." Ty said. *Great. Joey is the finest girl I haveever seen.* He thought looking at Joey.

"Bye, Dawson. I'll see you after school." She gave Dawson a kiss then walked off with Ty.

"So, how you liking the school?" Joey asked Ty as they headed down the hallway.

"It's great." Ty replied. "So, you're going out with Dawson?"

"Yeah, for two months now. But it seems longer. We've been best friends forever."

"That's great. And Jen and Pacey are going out too? I'm trying to catch upon the school gossip." Ty asked.

"I understand. Yeah, they've been going out for a month now. So what brings you to Capeside?"

"Well, my parents are tired of the big city. So, we moved out here from Boston." Ty replied.

"Boston to here. A big change. Here's the class." Joey pointed to the door.

"After you." Ty motioned her toward the door.

"Thank you." She walked in.

Ty talked to Dr. Rand for a few minutes. Then he sat next to Joey.

"It looks like I'm your new lab partner, Joey." The bell rung and everyone got quite.

"So what do you think of that Ty guy?" Pacey asked Jen as he walked herhome from school.

"He's alright, I guess. I don't know him too well." They got closer to Jen's house and noticed a car sitting in her driveway.

"Isn't that-" Pacey got cut off as Billy walked up to the couple.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Jen asked rudely.

"Well, I heard that you dumped my boy. So I came back to visit you." Billy walked over to try to give her a welcome hug, but Pacey stepped in front of him.

"Don't touch her. Get in your car and leave. You screwed up alot of stuff when you were here the first and second time. Now for the third, you get in your car and leave before anything gets started." Pacey demanded.

"Pacey, let me guess. You are Jen's new guy. Well, let me think back. Hmm...the first time I was here, I broke up Jen and Dawson. Now Jen has a new guy and I want her back again, that means I get to break up you two now." Billy explained to Jen and Pacey.

"Billy, that's enough. I love Pacey more than I ever will Dawson. And nothing, I mean nothing will break us up. So get the hell out of here!!" Jen told Billy.

"I'll leave you for now, but I'm still in town. I'm enjoying the senery. Bye." Billy jumped in his car and left.

"Damn! That's all I need now." Jen said sitting down on her porch.

"I know. Hey, I have to go to work. You feel OK?" Pacey asked not wanting to leave her alone.

"Yeah. I'm fine. I'll stay in the house until you come over tonight." Jen said completely in control.

"Great. I'll see you tonight. Bye, baby." Pacey gave her a kiss and left. Jen got up off the porch and went to her room. That's where she lost control.

*Damn you, Billy. Last time you came I lost Dawson forever. but I don't want to lose Pacey ever. How can I get you to leave without anything getting started?* Just then she got and idea.

Dawson walked to the Icehouse, disappointed and excited with the news he had heard from his parents.

"Hey, Dawson." He heard as he walked into an empty Icehouse.

"Hey. Where is everybody?" Dawson asked. He had never seen the place this dead.

"I don't know." Joey said as she gave her boyfriend a kiss. "I'm enjoying it though."

"Well, I'm glad for you, but I have some bad news." Dawson said in a way that worried Joey.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing except I have to go out of town with my parents this weekend. I'm disappointed because I thought we could spend some time together." He said with a sad expression on his face.

"It's alright, Dawson. I had some bad news, too. Dr. Rand wants me to tutor Ty. At Ty's old school, he was way behind were we are." Joey said walking up to Dawson and putting her arms around his neck. "Too bad because I had plans for us this weekend." Shetold Dawson. Dawson looked at her, then kissed her passionately.

"Hey, I know nobody's here, but do that somewhere else." They both had heard a voice from behind them and looked up, embarrassed, and found a smiling Bessie.

"Sorry, Bess. It's just that Dawson and I aren't going to be around eachother all weekend so we were trying to get ahead." Joey said leaving Dawson amazed that she would say something like that.

"Well, since you put it that way, Jo. You can go ahead and leave." Bessie said. Joey wasn't sure if she was being truthful. "Now Joey before I change my mind!"

Joey threw down her apron and dragged Dawson out quickly.

"Pacey, trust me my plan will work. I know it's not true, but it is the only way to get Billy out of our way." Jen said as they were walking to the movies.

"OK, it's worth a shot." Pacey kissed her on the forehead and prayed that her plan would work.

Joey was at Ty's house Saturday working on Marine biology. It was a nice house alot like Jen's, but away from the ocean. They still had alot of unpacking to do.

"Can we take a break, Joey? We've been at this for hours." Ty said as he closed his book.

"Yeah, sure. This is not my idea of a weekend. “Joey replied.

"I know what you mean."

"So, how are you liking Capeside?" Joey asked.

"It's alright. I don't think my parens like it. I heard them last night talking about going back to Boston."

"Less than a week. A new record." Joey laughed. "I hate this place at times but I love it too much to leave it."

"Yeah. I kind of don't want to leave."

"Why?" Joey asked puzzled.

"Because I have developed a crush on someone." Ty said looking a little embarrassed.

"Really?!?" Joey was amazed. To her, he was one of the shy guys who never got the girl. "Let me guess. One of the cheerleaders?"

"Actually, no. Unfortunately for me, the girl has a boyfriend." Ty replied upset about the cheerleader remark.

"Well, the only girls I have seen you talk to is....." She trailed of as she figured out it was either her or Jen. "I'm thinking it isn't Jen." She asked when she saw the look on his face. It scared her.

"Well, you are right, Joey. It is you." Ty replied getting closer to Joey.

"Ty. I think I need to go." Joey said getting up and going for the door. He ran and blocked her way.

"What's the rush?" Ty asked grabbing Joey. Out of nowhere he felt an uncontrollable pain between his legs. He let her go and fell to the floor. Without hesitation, she ran out the back door, crying.

Since Dawson wasn't home, she headed for Jen's house.

Dawson was in his hotel room when he got a feeling that Joey was in trouble. On an impulse, he called Joey's house. No one answered. Then he called the Icehouse.

"Hey, Bess. It's Dawson. Is Joey there?" A concerned Dawson asked.

"No, she doesn't have to work today. I think she said something about that new kid, Ty." Dawson knew then why he had the feeling. "Thanks, Bessie. Bye." He hung up the phone, knowing there was nothing he could do.

Joey ran to Jen's house but she stopped when she reached the driveway. She saw a familiar car in the driveway. Billy noticed her. "Hey, Joey."

"What the hell are you doing here?" Joey asked

"Well don't you and Jen sound alike? I am waiting waiting for Jen. What about you?" Billy asked trying to be nice.

"I need to talk to Jen about something, but I guess it will have to wait awhile." Joey said as she saw Jen and Pacey. Joey ran to them before Billy could say anything.

"Hey, Jo." Jen said. Then she whispered. "I'm about to tell Billy something. So don't freak out at what I'm about to say, please?"

"Sure." Joey said a little confused.

The three of them walked to Billy's car. Billy was mad when he saw Pacey, but he kept it cool.

"Hey, Jen. Did you two have a fun evening?" Billy asked and then Jen started crying. "What's wrong, Jen?" He asked glaring at Pacey, like he did something wrong.

"We didn't have a 'fun evening'. We were at the doctors." She paused. "Billy, I'm pregnant."

"Who's kid?" He asked shocked, hoping it wasn't his.

"It's Pacey's. And before you ask, yes, I'm keeping it. So if you don't mind. Get in your car and go back to New York. I need my rest and I don't want you around." Jen exclaimed. Then to Joey and Pacey. "You two can come inside with me." They went inside. Joey went and looked out of a window.

"Is he gone?" Pacey asked.

"Yeah. He left in a hurry. He looked kind of mad. Oh, well. Jen, how did you know that would work?"

Jen smiled and then said. "In New York, he told me over and over, he didn't want a kid. So I used his biggest fear to drive him away."

"It's not true, is it?" Joey asked smiling.

"Nope, I haven't gotten that lucky yet." Pacey said with a sad expression.

Jen laughed and threw a pillow at him. "If you keep it up, you won't." Jen gave him a kiss.

"Jo, why did you come over?" Pacey asked.

"Umm..." She trailed off as she started crying.

"What's wrong, Joey? “Jen walked to Joey and hugged her.

Joey started to explain. "Well, I was suppose to tutor Ty because he was behind in Dr. Rand's class. So I went to his house. We studied for a while. Then he put a move on me and blocked the door so I couldn't leave. Then I kneed him somewhere painful to a guy. When he was on the ground, I ran out of the backdoor. Then I came here." Pacey got madder at Ty the farther she went into her story. Him and Joey may fight alot but he loved her like a sister. After she finished, he got up and headed for the door.

"Pacey, no." Joey and Jen yelled at the same time.

"Why not? I want to teach this jerk some manners."

Joey got up and hugged him. "I know. I'm mad, too, but I need to talk to Dawson first. I hope you understand."

"I do, Joey."

"Hey, Jo." Jen called. "You want to spend the night? I know you don't have any of your stuff here, but you can borrow some of my clothes. I think you would like some company and I would like some, too."

"Yeah, I guess. I'm tired though. I think all I want to do is sleep."

"That's OK. That's all I want to do." Jen said. Then looked at her boyfriend.

"It's time for you to go." She shoved him to the door.

"Pace, don't say anything to Dawson. Let me talk to him first." Joey said.

"OK. I understand. Just call me if he does something stupid." He walked over and gave her a reassuring kiss on the cheek. " Night, Jo."

"Night, Pace."

Jen walked Pacey to the door and they kissed eachother goodnight. Then the girls went to Jen's room and fell asleep.

Joey was sitting on Dawson's bed when he got home. "Joey, are you alright? I got this feeling last night that something had happen to you. Are you alright?" Dawson asked her.

"Yeah, I am now. Last night when I was at Ty's, he held me and tried to kiss me, but I kneed him in a guys most painful spot and ran out the backdoor to Jen's. I spent the night at her place." Joey said in a calm and steady tone. She was alright now.

She looked at Dawson. He was angry. He went to the window and climbed down the ladder, without any explanation. She knew what he was doing. Joey picked up Dawson's phone and dialed Pacey's number.

Pacey was at Ty's house when Dawson showed up. "Dawson, calm down. He's not here. From the look of it, it looks like they moved. There is nothing inside the house." Pacey explained to Dawson.

"Damn, I wanted to kill him." Dawson said looking at the house. Pacey was in shock that Dawson said that. Pacey let it slide because he knew how much Dawson loved Joey. "Come on. Let's go tell, Joey." With that they went back to Dawson's house.

"Good, I'm glad he's gone." Joey said to Dawson after Pacey left.

"Me, too. Look, I'm sorry, Jo."

"About what, Dawson?" Joey asked confused.

"Not being here for you last night."

"Dawson, there was nothing you could do. It would have happened if you were here. There was nothing you could do to prevent this from happening. Then I would have told you. Then you would go to his house and get in a fight with him, which you tried today. I don't care. I'm fine. At least I can protect myself." She said smiling.

"Just don't do that to me, Jo." Dawson said smiling back.

"I won't. I do want kids one day." They kissed passionately for awhile. Then they laid down close together and fell asleep, knowing that nothing would ever come between them.
