FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
DO NOT CALL MY OFFICE TO SAY HOW GREAT YOUR BAND IS - JUST SEND THE DEMO!
YOU MUST 'snail' MAIL YOUR DEMO ACCORDING TO THE GUIDELINES BELOW.
DO NOT ATTACH SONGS AS EMAIL FILES - WE WILL NOT HEAR THEM.
DO NOT DIRECT US TO YOUR SONGS ON A WEB SITE - WE WILL NOT DOWNLOAD THEM.
WE WILL ONLY HEAR CDs THAT ARE MAILED TO THE OFFICE AT THE ADDRESS LISTED BELOW. NO TAPES!
Why? - We cannot and will not discuss representation without first hearing your demo!
Seriously now. Because this firm has become increasingly busy in recent years, we may not have the time to comment on every demo received. If we are crazy about it, you WILL get a call back - believe it. This is a small, boutique firm, so I simply do not have time to chat with you about your artists. Besides, if they are any good, the DEMO will say so. Also, I need to know that you are hard-working and savvy-enough to put out a decent looking package.

PLEASE DO NOT MAIL US YOUR DEMO UNLESS YOU CAN (honestly) ANSWER 'YES' TO NUMBERS 1, 2, and 3, below.
Our policy - We cannot and will not represent any artist UNLESS...
1) Your band is playing REGULAR GIGS over a WIDE GEOGRAPHIC AREA. If not, please do not bother to send your demo! Nobody is going to 'discover' you down in your basement studio. You have to be out there gigging regularly and promoting yourself if you expect us to do the same. Are you selling out lots of shows in your area? Send proof, not fluff.
2) You have a professional-sounding demo on CD; - NO KARAOKE - THIS IS NOT AMERICAN IDOL! and;
3) The demo is made up entirely of original material - NO COVER SONGS; and
4) We believe that there is currently a commercial market for this kind of music; and
5) We are so absolutely crazy mad about your original music that we just can't stop ourselves!
We will not agree to represent any artist who we cannot get behind 100%. That would be unethical for us and unfair to you. We receive many demos, so please remember to include a postage paid return mailer if you want us to send your materials back to you.
We guarantee that all demos submitted according to the instructions above will be heard - and that's all we guarantee!
WARNING - There are many unscrupulous people out there - some with big names in the industry - who accept demos and charge a hefty fee just for rejecting you - what a scam!! Be careful out there people! Some of the musicians that you idolize just want to rip you off!
BEWARE OF ANY SERVICES THAT MAKE YOU PAY TO SEND YOUR DEMO. THESE ARE NOTHING MORE THAN SCHEMES TO TAKE YOUR MONEY! YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF AND RECEIVE NOTHING IN EXCHANGE! so don't say I didn't warn you.
and FINALLY
If you are going to the trouble of making up a package, please have some verifiable content in it and not just serf-serving fluff. Check for spelling errors, especially in your promo pictures. If you are promoting your band as a unique acapella group, for example, the cd should actually feature some acapella tunes on it.
