Yet, another creative writing assignment. I don't know if this is a satire anymore or just a lampoon. You'll know how much I love these new "artists."

In recent time, the music industry has been putting forth popular denizens under the age of twenty to create the most wonderful music society has ever heard. Among these bright and talented young stars are Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Mandy Moore, and those represented by clever group names such as the Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync, and 5ive. Rapidly, their enchanting music and grasping lyrics are conquering the music industry from such horrid screamers and drum-bangers as David Bowie, Aerosmith, Metallica, Madonna, and Pink Floyd.

The deepest congratulations to such youthful virtuosos, for stepping forth and taking the reigns from those who have been failing to drive us into their own simple world, completely devoid of problems. They are doing us a great service by thinking for us, and telling us how to enjoy our love lives more than we have been for countless eons.

Those three talented young women aforementioned deserve the majority of this recognition. The well-established, definitive songs written and performances given by these musical artists are all on the same wavelength, speaking of dropping all of your worries and thinking about them twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, because they know we have nothing better to think about. Of course they incessantly chant about how loved they are, because if they weren't, they wouldn't be up there in the first place!

And, of course, technology has allowed these starlets to have a relatively easy time coming up with such innovative and emotive ideas; because of recording technology, these artists don't even have to SING their music. This makes their messages much easier to send, in case of such instances as them not having a DECENT singing voice. Then, who would listen to them?

I am beyond fed up with those who constantly mock the goddesses of the music industry. Apparently, they are ugly, jealous young teenage girls who crave the attention that these spectacular artists have, not to mention, DESERVE! They should learn to shut their mouths, sit back, and listen to the constant input of such driving emotion given to them from these prime-cut musicians, and maybe they will be straightened out. Their opinions are not worthy to be heard in such a society, when music-makers knowingly have the world by the privates.

And who would have thought such success of people like this in solid groups of five? Simply amazing, how five boys from the Backstreets can make such touching rhythms and tunes, and at the same time, can be so open about their sexuality by marrying one another. We cannot simply look at this, but must pry much deeper into their music. They cleverly confuse us by entitling each of their songs with very similar names, thus making it necessary to listen to each one of the songs in order to find the one you were looking for before. However, this proves to be almost entirely useless, since each of these songs sound EXACTLY the same. Since the first time was so pure and perfect, they, in their infinite wisdom and experience, deemed it worthless to try to improve what their songs sounded like.

To accompany such musical talent and virtuosity, these five-member groups create dances to go with their songs by assimilating various techniques and styles from musicians by the likes of Michael and Janet Jackson, to show THEM how they could have had it perfect the first time. Thus creating the most magical effect music can have on someone.

Once again, there exist people who continuously mock such groups as the Backstreet Boys (which insinuates that these are some tough kids who grew up in the rough areas of the city), 'N Sync (drawing the picture that they sing in synchronization), and 5ive (five boys making music). Such ignoramuses must be cast aside, since they know not what they speak of. These boys are not talentless muck, but are tough, resilient, and can handle life on their own without the aid of a big business music industry recording label (since they all use the same one). They deserve the recognition, just as the goddesses of music, for their musical talent and openness to the world.

But, one must wonder what awaits us in music's future. Perhaps all of these musicians are all gone from this plane of existence. Where will humanity go to for real, genuine music? This is a worry you should never waste your time with, because the music industry, at this very moment, is training an entire army of societal messengers, who will have new or improved life philosophies to share with the rest of the world. Let our only fear be that one day, such worthless, meaningless music, such as that given to us by the drug- and sex-infected minds of Stephen Tyler, David Bowie, Madonna, and such will come back and be inserted into the mainstream. They have been around way too long, and still have no concept of what music REALLY is. Once they figure this out, then and only then can they conquer the music industry as these fine young musicians have.
