The third track on A Collection of Curiosities is "The Sirens" by the
band Breath of God. "The Sirens" is a very powerful and beautiful piece
that places the amazing vocal abilities of the group in the forefront.
It is difficult to describe just how this song sounds. John Collinge
of Progression Magazine wrote: "Breath of God is one act that
injects a sense of inventiveness." Maybe "inventive" is the best
description. This track seems to be a favorite of listeners of all different
stlyes of music. One of the great things about Breath of God is variety.
They play music in a variety of styles that, like the compilation itself,
can only loosely be grouped in the category of rock.
