Latrell Sprewell

Latrell Sprewell is the Knicks' small foward/guard. He was born on September 8,1970,weights 190, and is 6-5. Latrell graduated from Alabama University in 1992.

Sprewell is best known for his slashing ability to the basket. The talent is most recently known for choking his the coach in Golden State last year.

After a 14 month lay-off (due to his supention and the lock-out)Sprewell appeared in the first two games of the season.Then He was sideline for three weeks with an injury to his heel. After recovering from his injury like many other Knicks, Sprewell flurished in during the play-offs. Becoming the new fan favorite.

Since the 99-00 training camp started Sprewell has been in many controversy. From his court case, to his weeklong disappearance, to his recent contract-extension offer. Sprewell is an interesting addition to the team, it is still yet to be decided if he is worth the public relation risk the Knicks took, only time will tell. So good so far!
