Open Window

My window is open as the wind blows.
And the sound of wind begins to grow.
While the moon above shines so bright.
I wonder what message the wind gives to me tonight.

I stand in front of the window feeling your breeze.
So tell me what you wish to say to me please.
"Bird, why are your wings broken?" The Wind asks.
"Please don't hide your emotions from me behind a mask."

The wind awaits me answer as it blows my curtains.
What to say to Whispering Wind I am uncertain.
"My winding roads, my future seems so blurry.
That at this time of night I begin to worry."

"My Dear Bird, where are your wings tonight?
It's your wings that give you your might."
"I thought I was real. Nothing is the way it seems.
I feel that I am no longer the bird of my dreams."

I bow my head to the ground with a slight frown.
And Whispering Wind is still there blowing my night gown.
"Bird, there is nothing wrong with your visions.
Please stop torturing yourself with all these incisions.
Come with me, my dear Bird, let me fly you away.
You really don't belong in this part of Sorrow Bay."

"Whispering Wind, I know I don't belong here.
But not belonging anywhere is what I fear."
"Dear Bird, I know you feel as if you have been slained.
I can't imagine your pain but I would hate to see your rain."

"Bird, that is the reason why I ask for your hand; so we can fly.
And I will give you positive reassureance in the sky.
Walk to me; take your first steps torwards happiness.
Then finally you will know life without sadness."

"Wind, out of all windows why come to me?
There are more shattered windows you should see.
Why am I so important that I should come fly with you?
To fly in your breeze and under the moon would be something new."

"When a window is closed so is your mind.
Your window is open so your spirit can unwind.
Let your open window be your guide to freedom.
And let us fly back to our home in our magical kingdom."

"Dear Wind, I do feel sad because I am homesick indeed.
So I will go home with you to fulfill my needs.
Allow me to flutter my feathers and expand my wings.
So up, down I can fly along with so many other things."

"Thank you so much, Dear Bird, for coming to help me.
Your arrival at home is is so much in need, you see?
Bird, you have no idea how happy you've made me feel.
You flying back home with me means a great deal."

So I flew out of my open window......... away I went.
The open window equals my restlessness because away I was sent.
To come back to Sorrow Bay will take a while and some guts.
When that time comes, to sleep I will go and my window will finally be shut.
