Grandma, I will miss your sweet smile whenever you greeted me.
I will miss the youthful summer days I had with you.
I will miss the old traditional Puerto Rican way of cooking my dinner.
I will miss the way you pray to our ancestors and ease my fears.
I will miss the way you speak with your beautiful accent.
I will miss the gifts you send me on special occasions and always mispell my name.
I will miss the way way you laugh at all of your faults.
I will miss the times we go out to shop.
I will miss our fun times in all the amusement parks you take me to.
I will miss the way you pronounce certain words and we laugh at it.
I will miss the times you bring out your photo album and tell me stories of my baby years and my mom, aunts and uncles child years.
I will miss the good-bye kisses you give me when I go home.
I will miss the phone conversations we often have.
I will miss the way you say: "See you later. God bless you."
I will miss being able to say: "I love you. See you soon."
I will miss all of your hugs and everything else about you.
Most of all, I will miss having you for a grandma.
You are unique with so much beauty.
And you are always in my heart, forever and all.
