Break

Searching the bonds of crackling earth
Where you sat with the sun setting
Falling stars and gloomy moons
Nothing to hide in the rain.

Perhaps granite walls
Came down upon the rushing waters
Stopping the mystery of minds
Wrapping shades of blue on your lips.

Fingers clawing on wetting sand
Castles crumbling upon the wake
Desperate to sake dying aspirations
Breaths coming so shallow now.

Close to the heavens, the gates are down
Peter has moved on, to another God
To and Fro, how your eyes glimmer
In the innocence of the candlelight.
