Candle flickers
cure filters through the air
i love you
was impossible to say
your hostile embrace
pushed me farther away
shadows cross my mind
memories of broken time
a brief crystallized life
shattered
valiantly i strive
to weave into sense
wayward thoughts and feelings
ambiguous reasoning
combined with melancholy logic
hoping ignorance
will keep me in blissful slumber
