September 11

Horrible,
threatening,
screaming,
anger,
terrible,
heartbreaking,
crying,
dreadful,
Our last goodbyes,

These are some words we use to describe September 11.

There is a big fire;
everybody runs.
The fire trucks race down the street;
out steps a firefighter.
He is as brave as a lion.
He tries to help as many people as he can.
Some more firefighters step out of the truck;
they get the hose and start to put out the fire.
The building falls to the ground.
The firefighters saved as many people as possible; lots of the firefighters even died
trying to save others.
The remaining firefighters finish putting out the fire
it was a very sad day.

Red, White, And Blue
Red, white, and blue,
those are the American colors.
Red, white, and blue means freedom
and lots of others.
Red, white, and blue,
means God is at our side.
Red, white and blue,
we should not ever hide.
Red, white, and blue,
we should not ever miss.
Red, white, and blue,
we should always kiss.
Red, white, and blue,
loves us all,
and with red, white, and blue.
we will never fall.

I Was There

I was there on that sorrowful morning.
I was with every single terrified passenger.
I was with a little girl crying for her mother.
I helped an old woman down the fiery steps.
I saved a baby, shrieking with fear.
I led a man out of the smoky building.
I could not stop the terrorists.
I could not save the lives of everyone.
I sent out the firemen and policemen.
I sent out rescue workers and the FBI.
I know you couldn't see me.
I know you couldn't hear me.
I was still there, though.
I will be there in your heart forever.

9/11
Sad, Scary
Terrible, destroyed
Running, yelling, crying
Heroes, New York, families, friends
Saving, risking, dying
Angry, Courageous
