                                    A Dark Dark World

                                    ~To find the way~

It's a dark, dark world. The skies were blanketed with dark looming clouds. The Buildings were dark and gray casting their long foreboding shadows across the streets. Even the moon did not dare to disturb the darkness that existed here and she liked it that way.

Deep pools of dark violet eyes watched the world from her window to the outside world. She liked the darkness; it felt so right and silent, wrapping itself around here like a cloak.

In reality it wasn't true though as street lamplights made their presence known, illuminating the area like stars battling for the right to be seen. But she liked it like that. It had a certain appeal to it. She had always liked lamps since she could remember. She had changed though, very much changed.

She was still aware that her name was Hotaru, Tomoe Hotaru, the firefly in the night. She had kept that name, no matter how much she, herself had changed. She didn't resent it, nor did she find comfort in it. It was just simply one of those unquestioned decisions. She also kept 'Sailor Saturn' like that too. Perhaps it would have been better to use a new title since the change, but it felt pointless to her.

Sailor Saturn, the Senshi of Silence, soldier of Saturn; the Messiah of Silence she had heard herself be called. It was fitting to be given that. She liked the silence, no, she bathed in the pleasure silence brings. It was an...essence that she craved for. This area around her had been properly silenced, she had made sure of that.

Tokyo was anything but silent though. It had been muffled in resent years, but this city was still one of the most active cities in Japan. She should have been disgusted and moved to a quieter area, but instead she found it equally pleasurable. Perhaps it was the lust of the challenge or maybe the exhilaration of bringing silence to it. She didn't really care for the reason, not since the change. What she wanted she would do. Whatever conscience or higher thoughts that blanketed her wants were non-existent.

It was odd that people call her a vampire. One of her newer titles had been the Vampire Princess, Silence. She had never bitten and did not have a need for human blood. She hadn't known what she changed into though, maybe she could be a vampire. But they had different goals than her she guessed and was definitely not afraid of the sun. She had no idea what brought them pleasure though or did she care. She had not cared for whatever titles she had received. All she cared for was the pleasure of the moment that she brought silence upon a person. Why she wanted to sink her teeth into the flesh and taste the fresh blood when she would do that, she did not know. All she cared for was the pleasure it brought.

                                    < OH MY! >

Saotome Ranma had always lived a hard life. Things were never easy, from training to food. He had trained to be the best and strived to be the best. Martial arts had been his life, and still is his life, but now it was all for a different reason.

His life always held unpleasant memories, from his earliest days of having a single parent to the intense chaos of life in Nerima, but it had never been on the same level ever since that day. Instead of pride of overcoming a challenge life brought, he now only had a dark desire for revenge.

Well not exactly revenge, he had long settled the lust for such acts. He now only wanted... there seems to be no words for it, resolution? If that was the term, it would be a never-ending journey for resolution.

His purpose was clear. To cleanse the world of evil. Priority, vampires. But even more, vampire of people he once knew. That event, that night, in Nerima had been two folds. The dead and the changed. Revenge had originally been his drive, but it was also salvation. He felt honor bounded to stop the soulless entities that had once been people he knew.

It had felt like an eternity in China, but the reward was very satisfying. Mousse had never been an easy opponent. As a vampire it had been impossible to predict the outcome, but that had never made him hesitate for a second. He had to do what had to be done.

Strolling down the crowded streets of Tokyo, it had brought back memories. Lights and sounds all around, people laughing, talking, happily minding their own business, he tried to feel pity for them. They knew nothing. He knew fully well the dark taint of evil that had surrounded the world. He bet that behind every alley, slithering in the crowds around lurked evil that the mass would never believe.

There are signs though. Japan, especially Tokyo had changed from the days he knew. Dark clouds seemed to never go away these days and the city had become muffled with lingering traces of fear, loathing, and evil in the atmosphere. It should have been hard to tell on the street he was walking down, but even ignorance could only hide so much. He should feel for pity them, but he couldn't, if given the situation, why should ignorance be bad when the reality was even worse.

Nonetheless there are groups these days, some small, some bigger, some secret, maybe even some from the government. He knew humanity was not without hope. He was not alone in his fight. There is a whole underground world to this world. Battles probably happens nightly. Slayers, sorcerers, clerics, paladins, priests, and so on could be found if you knew where to look.

He was not alone in the fight, but he fought alone. He had his own way, his own goals, and his own reasons. He had no affiliation, but he was not arrogant. He would seek help if it were ever needed.

In a way he him self was tainted and corrupted. He knew he himself was no saint, no warrior of light, even his goals where not of good intentions. It was for his own selfish reason. He knew the only sole reason at this point was for pleasure. The sick greedy lust for pleasure that comes from a destruction of evil. The vampires and especially the vampires he knew personally. In a way he was no different from those he destroyed.

He was a hunter, a slayer, and a vampire hunter foremost. He was as tainted as those he sought and he didn't care
