So, what's the story behind this site? Well, it all started with Jamie, an 18-year-old actress from Long Island, New York, who wanted to be in movies. And right now is the point at which she will stop narrating in third person.
That's better. Anyway, I'm Jamie, and these are two scripts that I have written that I would really like to become feature and/or independent films. First, I'll get serious: I know my script for an alternative Scream 2 will never fly with Dimension Films, but I still thought I should put it on my site. I'm very proud of it, and I think Scream fans will enjoy it, especially if they liked the character, Randy. Randy was the whole reason I wrote my Scream 2: The Alternative Version. I was very upset by the character's death, so I simply did what anyone else would have done in my situation and wrote an entirely different script. So, here it is for you to enjoy. [Well, soon. I've just started this page.]
My other script is called Butterfly Fish and is my very first original script. When I finished it, I was very proud of myself and I was even happier when I read the whole thing tonight and realized that it didn't suck. Butterfly Fish is a kind of dark, funny-at-times love story with a twist ending. It's a script that I would hope will be sold and made into an actual movie, starring me. There are many people who could play the part, but I think since I wrote it, and I'm desperate for an acting job, I should get first dibs. This script will be coming up sooner than Scream 2: The Alternative Version, so watch for it.
