Luke brushed his blond hair from his face as he swung at his Jedi student Dyni. Dyni jumped as Luke just missed hitting her.
"Getting a little too strong on me Luke," she said. "Remember I am only a student."
Luke turned off his lightsaber and sat down on a chair in the training room. "You're getting better Dyni," Luke said sarcastically.
"Nah, you're just getting slower." She laughed and so did Luke.
Luke was silent for a moment. "What's the matter Luke," Dyni asked.
"Nothing," he said. Luke looked into Dyni's gray eyes, he could tell she was worried about thim. How could he tell her that he was falling in love with her? Dyni had come to the Jedi training school 2 months ago and was already showing progress in the use of the force. When he had first seen her she had made quite an impression on him. She had long red-gold hair and lovely grey eyes and she was very graceful.
Luke looked up at Dyni and she smiled at him. Luke could tell she had an attraction to him as many of his students did, but Dyni was different. As Luke looked into her eyes he put his hand on hers. Her face turned red at his touch .
"Dyni, I have something to tell you," Luke said.
She smiled, and he could tell she already knew because she could see his thoughts.
