the nurse you stop to ask happens to be none other than Nancy Thompson, on her way to see a little boy who keeps on raving about someone trying to kill him who has knives for fingers. you tell her and she immediatly takes you outside "You saw who kill you sister? Fred Kruger?" "yes." you say "there he is! he's coming right for us!" nancy turns and sees him "NANCY, What A Pleasure To See You Again!" "get in the car quick!" she tells you.
she turns the key to turn on the engine. nothing happens. she turns it again. still nothing. whe get out and open the hood. the wires and tubes have been slashed. oil and transmission fluid is all over the parking lot. the battery's missing too. you see freddy spining it on his index finger across the lot. Nancy drags you away from the car. "You can't stay awake forever!" he yells. you and nancy get on the nearest source of transportation, the bus.
