CRAFT RECIPES
Play Dough
1 cup salt
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cup warm water
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp veg oil
Food coloring
Mix all the ingredients together until you make a ball. Make sure to keep dough in a plastic baggie or air-tight container to keep soft.
Slime
1/2 cup white glue
1/2 cup liquid laundry starch
Mix ingredients together in a bowl. Let stand for about 5 minutes. Knead with your hands until it comes together to form slime.
Finger Paints
1 cup flour
4 cups water
Food coloring
Add 1 cup flour and 1 cup of water to pan. Stir until it's all mixed. Add rest of water and put pan on medium heat. Boil mixture for 1 minute and remove from heat. Let mixture cool. Put mixtures into paper cups and add food coloring. Keep covered in plastic.
Glob (Like Silly Putty)
1/2 cup white glue
1 cup of water
1 tsp of Borax
Food coloring
Add 1/2 cup water to glue and food coloring. In another bowl add the other 1/2 cup water and borax until it's dissolved. Add both mixtures together. Mix until the glob is solid and pour off excess water. Knead until thick. Store glob in plastic baggie.
**NOTE: This recipe contains borax. It shouldn't be used by small children and older children should be told not to eat the glob).
