He was lovingly known as the "Fruit and Vegetable Man" from the Surprise Market where he was employed as a buyer. In 1947, Otis met and married Mamie Lizana. He leaves to love and remember him his loving wife Mamie, two daughters, Cynthia and Suzanne, one son Darryl, one daughter-in-law Reina, three granddaughters Chammee', Chantel, and Ambyr, two brothers James and M.C., one sister-in law Ellen Lizana, three very special cousins Arthur Holt, Nathaniel Holt, and Mariah Robinson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Otis departed this world Tuesday, April 15, 1997 at Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre surrounded by his wife and family. Poppa we love you and we will miss you. Thank GOD for you!!!!
