Willam is played by Ethan Suplee. Throughout the entire movie Willam was trying to see the sailboat. He would stand in front of the "picture you stare at to see something" all day long but could not seem to find the sailboat. Several times he snapped at both kids and adults when they either broke his concentration or saw the sailboat before he did. When one little boy and girl called it a schooner, he said they were wrong, not knowing that a schooner is a sailboat. When they told him the two were the same his response was "Ya know what? There is no easter bunny! Over there, thats just a guy in a suit!" At the end of the movie however it said that Willam did eventually end up seeing the sailboat :).
