Action Toward Independence is a not for profit, non residential, peer run, referral and advocacy agency for persons with disabilities in Orange and Sullivan Counties. Our services are aimed at promoting, accessiblity, community integration and equal opportunity in all aspects of society for persons with all types of challenges."

ATI provides services to individuals with disabilities and assists them in achieving their chosen level of independence, and advocates for their rights when necessary. Our services are aimed at maximizing their potential for independence and are free of charge.

We have specially trained Advocates experienced in Education, Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Benefits Advisement.

Action Toward Independence, located in Middletown, NY provides services for the Orange County area, along with our sister office in Monticello in Sullivan County (845-794-4228).
