SUSPENSION : WEIGHT JACK EXPLAINED

Before we start, I want to explain a few things so we will both be talking the same language. First off, The tire that comes off the ground first has less weight on it than the other wheel. For example: If the right rear comes off the ground 3 inches before the left , the left rear has more weight than the right rear. Secondly, if you jack down on a jack bolt you will be turning the bolt clockwise so that the car will rise and you will be putting additional weight on that wheel and the diagonal wheel at the opposite end of the car. For example: If you jack down on the right front you will put more weight on the right front and left rear, and also raise the right front. If you jack up on the jack bolt you'll turn it counter clockwise and take weight off the car. When you heat a spring it takes weight off that wheel and the diagonal wheel at the opposite end of the car while lowering the car.
