Ellis Garden & Liberty

After 9-11, they decided to closed the Ellis Island and Liberty Island for security purposes. They decided to open them again to the public after a year but only few can get in to the said statue. I feel bad for tourists who came from all over the world but could not see the top of the Liberty.

Im very happy to say that my hubby and I got a chance to see what's inside and how wonderful the view when you're on top of the popular statue :)

We also went to Ellis Island where it used to be the gateway through which more than 12 million immigrants passed in their search for freedom and jobs oppurtunity in the US.
